  • This journal article explores the impact of globalisation and technology on the diverse expressions of love across different cultures in Africa. With the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing interconnectedness of the world, traditional expressions of love in African cultures are being challenged and transformed. The article analyzes the changes in the ways African people express love towards their partners, family members, and friends, and the impact of globalization and technology on these expressions. Using a qualitative research approach, this study collects data through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with participants from diverse African cultures. The findings reveal that globalisation and technology have led to new forms of expressing love, such as online dating, long-distance relationships, and social media interactions. These changes are impacting traditional expressions of love, including arranged marriages, polygamy, and the role of extended family in romantic relationships.This article concludes that globalisation and technology are having a significant impact on the diverse expressions of love in African cultures. It highlights the need for individuals and societies to embrace these changes and adapt to the new forms of expressing love, while also preserving the traditional expressions that are important to their cultural identity. This article recommends further research to explore the long-term effects of globalisation and technology on the diverse expressions of love in African cultures.
